    Hi There,

What is your child's diagnoses? Do you have an offical diagnoses by a doctor? Latest Evaluation by school or other qualified professionals, and results? Make sure you always get a copy. Read your sons Present Levels of Performance, look for Strength / Weakness? Your sons latest (Progress Report), did the TOR provide you with a copy? Pyhsical Disabilities, does your son have pyhiscal limitations? Does your son need AT ( Assistive Technology? His Age?Do you have a copy have copy of his FBA(Functional Behavior Assesment) ? BIP( Behavior Intervention Plan? Do you have an (RPR) Regional Parent Resource helping you? If not I can help you find one in your county or close by. Always get all agreements with school in writing. Keep all emails, or print them out and file them, you may need them to support you in the future. Log "everything" that pertains to your child at school, and at home. Keeping well organized notes / files helps you find what you need quickly.

TOR's is usually of no help obtaining a paraprofessional, a parent must prove their child needs a paraprfessional (one on one) to fit their child's needs, and present to school in a CC meeting.....Lets start with answering the questions above. Feel free to e-mail me deborah3brock@yahoo.com.  I can send you local (RPR) list for your area.
